Sexual assault is a pervasive issue that affects our communities worldwide. When individuals in our community suffers, we all suffer. Sexual assault is a crime that knows no boundaries, impacting people regardless of age, gender, race, or socio-economic status. The importance of sexual assault awareness and prevention cannot be overstated. Through our work we can and WE WILL prevent over 500,000 sexual assaults each year.


What is Sexual Assault?

It is a violation of an individual's boundaries and autonomy, causing physical and emotional harm that can be long-lasting and traumatic. By understanding what sexual assault is, we can ensure that we talk about assault in informed ways that push the needle forward to end sexual assault, and stay sensitive to survivors.


Who does Sexual Assault Affect?

Sexual assault can happen to anyone. It is not limited to any specific gender or age group. By dispelling myths and misconceptions like these, we can create a more inclusive environment for survivors to come forward.

What Can Be Done to Prevent Sexual Assault?
